Sounds like you've found evidence of water intrusion. It's always disheartening to find that what you thought was a dry camper is in fact not all it seemed, but you're in the right place to find all kinds of information on this sort of thing.

Try searching for titles like "water damage", "rot", "soft roof", "soft walls" etc.
You'll find plenty of posts, many with step-by-step photo documentation of the process which will be a great help in getting your camper back to like-new condition.
And please post some of your own photos because many on this site will jump in to offer their expertise and guide you in your project.

Happy restoring!
Rich

Hi Bowles,

Welcome to Sunline Owners Club!

It sounds like you have discovered water damage on a camper you where told was OK. This was unfortunate it happened. Many times the prior owner may have not known they even had a problem even. We can help but we cannot see what you are up against. If you can post some pictures they go a long way here to help explain the problem. The key to a water infection fix is to make sure you found the leak source before doing a lot of repairs.

We may not have your exact model that has gone through a water repair but we do have many that have done water repair and the repair techniques do apply regardless of floor plan.

Rich mentioned searching, this Google Custom Search for our website will help better then the embedded search engine on our site.

When you click on that link, scroll down to the search box that says "Google Custom Search" Enter few words like "rot repair" or "water infection" and hit the blue Go button

Here are few of the repair posts active and ongoing now.

And this thread may help with searching the camper for where the water infection stops and starts. http://www.sunlineclub.com/forums/f7...per-17613.html

Hope this helps.
