Hello from the Sunline

We finally are able to get out this year. I can't complain since the first week I took off this summer was a week at Disney. We are staying at the Yogi CG in North Hudson NY. We got here yesterday and we're here until next Sunday. Since today was rainy we took a ride down to Lake George to hit the outlets. This is a week with no real plans except to relax and get the whole family to reconnect. Campfires are great for that.

North Hudson, you mean Hudson in Columbia County? Like in the lower Hudson Valley?

But Lake George is up, north from the Hudson I grew up near...

Right church wrong pew, or in this case, Right state, wrong town?

Upper NYS is a beautiful area.

Have fun and shoot us some pics of your adventure

John

North Hudson is right off the Northway (I-87), well north of Schroon Lake, and over half way from Albany to Plattsburgh. Deep inside the Blue Line. Nice country.

We'll be about 2 hours northwest of there starting next Monday for at least two weeks.

Hi Fellow Campers!

We are up in Bristol Indiana with the camper. Arrived last Thursday to meet up with some camper friends from the surrounding 3 states. Everyone has now gone home expect us. We are leaving on Monday to head for one night in a State Park in Northern Ohio them back home on Tuesday.

What a mixed bag with the weather…. We where dodging in and out of sprinkles with a coat onFriday and Saturday, massive gusts of wind on Saturday that would of took off one of our groups awnings if we did not catch the awning arm when it flew back down the “second” time…… and today… my goodness the heat…. 98F. It is still 86 at 9:00PM. The heat of summer is here

Here we are ready to head out in the AM.

Got to go. Be back soon when we can get an internet connection.

John and Cindy

OH MY, John. You posted such a wonderful picture, but there is one problem with it, Gary saw your toolbox on the rear of the 310, and all I heard was "We CAN DO THAT", and I'M saying "OH NO, OH NO, NO". Please tell him your 310 is special and it's not possible with our 320

Kitty and EMD_Driver

Well of course our T310SR is special. It's ours!!!

Gary, the rear boxes was not done without a lot of thought and planning, measuring etc. And it may not work on many campers due to either in the way the frame is made or more so that is does reduce tongue weight. In my case it was what was wanted/needed as the rear living area campers load tongue foward as there is not much storage aft of the rear axle to unload the tongue in the way of gear. It all adds forward.

See this post, it has some of what I went thru.

http://www.sunlineclub.com/forums/ph...?p=11599#11599

Now to the T320SR and can this work, well... weights and measures need to be done to determine that. Your floor plan is different. If you want to think about doing this, let me know and we can do some quick cal’s to see what it will unload on your tongue weight. But we need actual loaded axle and tongue weights before that.

And to others following along, I do not recommend doing any rear box additions until all the math and calculations are done to prove you will not create an unstable towing TT.

Hope this helps

John

Here's where we stayed.

I ran into another Sunline owner there. I told him about the site and he said he'll will probably look us up when he gets home.

NY is a beautiful state in the summer. We were there for a week after the rally in June. We haven't seen many Sunlines at the campgrounds we've been to.
