Hello all!

Just your freindly neighborhood RV designer here... just wanted to send everyone a not to let everyone know that the Kern family will be moving to Albany Oregon. Just a small move, just 2886 miles for us. I will be working at Chalet RV , will be involved with production managment and some design. This company make a quailty product like sunline , one of the reasons I excepted the offer to work with them. Thank you all for the good sunline times and I hope in the future I will be building some custom and Accessible units like sunline did so well.

Carl Kern

P.S. Jon , I still have my Eclipse! it will be traveling behind the X across the county, we are making a trip out of it.

Hey Kern Family,
Best of luck in your new adventure, Oregon is beautiful country. I do wish you much success at Chalet RV. I believe the Chalet was at the Allentown RV show from Berks-Mount RV. They seemed very popular with the crowd. I understand they have a new model that flips up to allow more headroom at the ends. I am sure your innovations will make the models even more popular.
Regards,
MM

Carl,

How soon are you planning to get out there? I know there are a lot of things to see from PA to Oregon!

Wow Carl, that's quite the move. Congrats on the new job, and hopefully you'll enjoy it as much as you did your time at Sunline. I know our relationship was one of the main reasons we were so happy with our Sunline decision.

Good Luck, and make sure to keep in touch with all of us here at the Sunline Club

OOO Carl, I Love the Chalets! Sold my Aliner to get a Sunline! We wanted a Chalet, but the Aliners are lighter, and when yout TV is A Jeep Wrangler.....

Does this mean that we can expect more TTs from Takena?

Carl,

Congratulation on your new job, we’re very happy for you.

I hope you and your family have a safe and successful move to your new location.

Please keep in touch and let us know how you are doing.

Remember, you and your family will always be considered a member of the Sunline family, no mater where you live or what you’re doing.

Let us know what route you’re planning on taking. If you plan on going through South Dakota, Wyoming, etc., stop in Thermopolis, WY. Cool place with all its natural hot springs. The city pools & hot tubs are all heated by the natural hot springs.

Congratulations and good luck.

Carl,
Congratulations on the new job. Just FYI, everyone we talk to is sad about Sunline being gone. We were just up in Maine and stopped in an RV dealer with our QUE in tow. The salesman came out to tell us how he misses working with Sunline, and what a great trailer and great group of people you all are/were. That was the third dealer that had the same reaction when they found out we are Sunline owners. Our campground neighbors up in Maine had a 280SR and researched for years before buying it, because the husband is an engineer and wanted a quality built unit. They are very happy with it. I could go on and on. Those are just my 2 most recent stories. I get the same reaction every time I ask someone "so...how do you like your Sunline?" I wish you and your family the best out in Oregon. What an adventure! Chalet is lucky to get you.
