Heading Out Tomorrow
Marshall is hooking up as we leave in the morning for VT and ME. We are going to Rockport, Bar Harbor, and Eastport, ME, and will be traveling for over two weeks. This is our big trip of the year and can't wait.

Sounds like fun! I haven't been to Bar Harbor in 13 years, and hopefully I can make it back in less than that from now.

Have a safe trip. We are hooked up too, but just for a weekend get away. Heading to VA for work next week for a while so we need to get our camping fix in before I leave.
Take pics, you know we like to see them....

That sounds like a wonderful trip! The carriage trails at Acadia are just awesome, (especially the less crowded ones away from the main area). Some even overlook the ocean! Enjoy!

Ha I was born in Maryland came to Maine and never went back! If you are near Belfast and want to stop for the night there is a campground on R1 right on the water called the Moorings nice campground but the best part is Papa J's. The owner of the campground is a chef to beat all and he owns Papa J's and it's right at the campground sea food to die for. Have a great trip!

We arrived in Brattleboro, VT, late yesterday afrer a long trip north. Lots of heavy rain and road construction delays. The KOA here is a nice, small campground with great owners. Some site have full hookups which we have. Bathhouse is spotless and showers are free. The dog play are is small but big enough for off leash time. There is a pool and a playground. Highly recommend this KOA as the sites are all pull throughs with trash cansat the sites. Cell phone service can be spotty in the campground.
We leave here Tuesday for Rockport, ME and are staying at Megunticook. Belfast is definitely on our list of places to visit so will look for the restaurant. Thanks for the suggestion.
Will have Marshall take lots of pictures to post when we get home.
