Happy New Year everyone
We are having a quiet night at home. It's my wife's birthday today so we had dinner and cake. The kids and I got the ice cream ball out and made ice cream. We're watching the Disney channel new year stuff.
I hope everyone has a happy and safe new year.

Happy New Year everyone! It was quiet around here too. None of the 3 kids were home...It was wierd thinking of them celebrating the new year at California time, Spain time, and Brazil time.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE (and bahbumbug, too). I am so glad the holidays are almost over. Hey, maybe I can throw a party since the holday is ending I return to work thursday, thank goodness. Spent yesterday at the hospital with mom, irregular HB. She is home with meds to take, but I've been there done that before, once the pills run out she won't get them refilled. SO, I'm in a hard place here.
But, anyway I hope everyone had a good holiday, didn't eat too much, and have started to count the days til spring :P

Happy New Year to Y'all too.
Kind of quiet here as well. Jan and I stayed home last night and rented RV, the Robin Williams movie. Very funny but exagerated in places. Very enjoyable.
Watched my Mizzou Tigers whip the Razerbacks in the Cotton Bowl today and plan on watching The World's Fastest Indian this evening.
The temp didn't break 20 here today and very windy so I'm staying inside.

A little off subject but what did you think of that moive"The Worlds Fastest Indian". The reason I ask is that I thought it was a great flick and my wife Barbara thought it was dumb and went to bed. She just could not grasp the concept of some one dragging a motorcycle half way around the world just to see how fast it could go. It made perfect sense to me.
Have great New Year every one and hope to see everybody at the 2008 M&G at Buttonwood.

Hiller,
Being a Mechanical Engineer and car guy, to me, The World's Fastest Indian is a great movie. It's a true story that reminded me somewhat of the movie Rudy. A person has an impossible dream and the drive and determination to see the dream come true in spite of nearly insurmountable obstacles.
On our family camping trip to Illinois last August I had a wonderful evening watching that movie outside the TT with my Grandsons.
I didn't have a lot on my Christmas list this year, but that movie was on there.
