Great Way to Prolong Battery Life

I've found a way to save on battery life rather than power up my larger 2000 watt inverter. When I just need to work on the lap top or power up a small 120v item, I bring the 300 watt inverter in from the Tow Vehicle and plug it into the 12volt receptacle inside the TT and use the smaller inverter rather than the larger one.

I've found that the little 300watter barely moves the numbers on my digital read-outs of power consumption. This should save battery life while dry camping and lengthen the time being able to go before running a generator or charging the batteries.

If I have to power up the larger inverter, I only have a few hours of run time with that thing running the Microwave, A/C Unit or Multiple 120v items. If I only want to watch some TV or work on the cpu updating our website, then the smaller inverter can run all night long and not drain the battery.

Just something I thought I'd pass along.
