Two ways to go. Both require a dedicated cooler for the frozen food. Put nothing else in it and put the food in frozen.
1) If the storage temps for the cooler will be low (and they should be in Delaware in April), a good quality, 40qt. cooler loaded with pre-frozen food and filled with block ice or ice left in the bag, cooler unopened will last 3 days until thawed. It'll still be cold enough to see you through the 6 days.
2) Substitute dry ice along with water frozen in large jugs, and you'll have to remember to take stuff out ahead of time.
Or, if you're feeling radical, do what we used to do on week-long canoe trips. Put the food for the first three days in one cooler with bags or jugs of ice. The last three day's food went in a styrofoam, Omaha Steaks cooler with dry ice and ductaped shut.
The main factor is having the cooler for frozen food only, opening it once a day to take the day's food out. Everything else goes in the fridge or another cooler.
