First Trip for 2010
After 4 months of not being able to camp, we are finally heading out for out first trip of 2010. This trip will also be out first trip in our NTU 5'ver. Although it is only an over night trip, we are really looking forward to it. Currently the rig is all packed and fully de-winterized.

De-winterized already... in Canada? You are brave!
We take delivery of our new 5th wheel on March 24th... in Elkhart. Camping at the dealer's on-site "campground" (a parking lot with electric/water hookups). Still, it qualifies as camping, and I'm excited as heck to get back in the swing of things!

What a Great Weekend! Even though it was rainy, wet and cool we were away camping. Here are some pictures from the weekend. There were a total of 5 people out camping this weekend and no one was letting weather bother them.

Actually not really, we have been having temps in the mid 50's all week with lows in high 30's and low 40's. This is only a couple weeks earlier than when I de-winterized last year. Any cold snap won't last long and if it forecast too, it will only take me about 10-15 minutes to re-winterize the rig.

Looks good! And a little swampy in that lower area. WOW....
I take it you have semi mastered getting the new rig in that camp site. Good job.
Nice park. Was the dump station open?
Thanks for sharing.
John

WOW, I am really jealous, you got to go out camping in your 311. We have our 1st camping trip planned for the weekend of April 16th, when we will meet John & Cindy B in Washington, PA for the weekend.
Maybe if the weather & projects would co-operate we could sneak out a little sooner. But, it's pretty much a soggy swamp around here, and lots of work to be done as it dries up.

Starting to get the hang of it. Glad I arrived in the daylight and not in the dark.

Thanks. This park is open 11 months per year. It only clothes for the month of December. Yes the dump station was open. It is not in the photo buy they have another dump stand pipe that you can use about 10 feet prior to the one in the picture.

We were very happy we were able to get out camping in the 311. We are planning on heading north to Algonguin Park for Easter weekend with the rig.
Hopefully the weather co-operates soon and you will be able to get out camping soon as well. Looking forward to hearing about your first trip with the 311.
