First trip

Just finished our shake down trip with the new 264sr. Everything went well except we couldn't get the fresh water tank to fill more than 1/3. After further investigation I found the vent hose has a kink in it not allowing the air to purge from the tank. Don't know if I can get the kink out or if I'll have to replace the hose. Saw 5 other Sunlines at the campground. 4 were seasonal, and the other 1 was only there for the weekend. They saw us pull in and came right over to see our coach. Said they had 2 previous trailers but after seeing a Sunline at an RV show, they knew that was the trailer they wanted.

Glad things went well on your first trip. We also did our first trip this weekend in the Adirondack Mtns with our 289. Found a couple minor issues that will be easy to fix. It was very enjoyable with the great view from our rear window even though the weather was uncooperative. I also had a water issue but after a few gallons dumped on the ground I realized the drain valves were open. We're anxious to go again soon.

Glad your trip went well.

The first few times, it always a learning experience. Then things settle in for a while and then you start learning really new things....

I always liked the 264SR. It's a popular layout. However it will not fit in my outbuilding, if it would, I might even been thinking harder on it. It is over 10 feet tall with the slide and will not get in my 121" opening.

Good luck and happy camping.
