Exterior Cleaners
We have a 2007 T-1950. Looking thru some past threads I see that everyone seems to be partial to a particular cleaner for a specific area ie.. sides, roof.
Was hoping to compile a list of what to get for each area and if some products are regional then I could find a substitute in my area of the country.
Thanks for all your help, I have never "met" a more helpful group!

Korkay Spray Cleaner! My RV dealer recommended it. It was about $16 a gallon but spray it on and black streaks, dirt, bugs, everything just runs off. It took about 1/2 gallon to do my 30 footer including the rubber roof effortlessly with a car brush. Good Stuff. Rinses off with a hose.
Awesome Orange, car wash and even Camco black streak cleaner and rubber roof cleaner didn't work as well.

As long as I make sure it never dries, I use Awesome on just about everything. With Mr. Clean magic erasers too, make an epic combination.
For the awning, I use a mixture of one part bleach, about 8 parts lemon Joy dish soap, and then fill the bucket up with warm water. Scrub it on good on both sides to try to remove some stuff, then roll it up for 5 mins or so, then pull out and hose off on both sides. Repeat if necessary. I generally use lemon Joy and water to wash the awning between serious cleanings.
For the roof, I don't have a successful combo yet. I've used both the awning stuff and Awesome/laundry soap, neither of which do an epic job. Seems to get the dirt off though.

I agree, Awesome from the dollar store is great. Simple Green works well too and their website says it's ok for the rubber roof. Magic Erasers are just that, magic! They will help the really tough black streaks and anything inside the camper. Marks on the wall I never thought would go away are gone. Never used them on the roof though.

I just use Downy detergent on roof. What comes off with lite scrubbing comes off, rest stays I don't press the issue. Watch the Magic Eraser on siding, to much rubbing can go through paint

Magic eraser won't do anything on the rubber- I tried it. It will however do a beautiful job cleaning up the seam sealer- as seen in my picture in the other thread. It made them much brighter and easier to see any potential problems...

I mean marks on the interior walls. Floor too. It really works well, but test a spot first before you put lots of elbow grease into it. Don't bother with Wally's brand of Magic Eraser. It's not as good as the real thing. They didn't hold up as long.

On the metal shell, I've used Simple Green (with a "mop mitt") followed with a dose of Magic Eraser when needed. Did a great job on ours.
