Classic Scotty sighting

Caught a glimpse of a beautiful classic tear drop Scotty yesterday. Flashback to Mom and Dad's first camper. It was quite the adventure with 6 of us in such a little thing.

They do have quite a loyal following now too. Unfortunately all of them are basket cases to restore because the walls are made of nothing but plywood. No furring strips/studs like Sunlines have. So when they start to leak, they rot and literally fall apart. Then again, I don't think John Serro intended for them to last 40 years either.

I found one a couple years ago that was being used as a storage shed and asked if the people if they would be interested in selling it. They said no that they were going to keep it and fix it up. The next week they torched it to get rid of it.
