"Carpet" on the Ceiling

Does anyone else have the "carpet" like material on their ceiling. I'm curious if it's a feature that is distinctive to the fivers or not. None of my other Sunlines had this feature. I did inquire about it at the dealer when we took delivery and they told me that it's for sound deadening purposes. Keeping down echos in the large space that the cathedral ceilings offer, and to quiet outside noise. I'm not a fan of it though. No matter how clean I keep the AC filter, dust and dirt still make their way through the ducts and collect on the "carpet", making an unsightly brown ring around the duct. Then I have to get a step stool to reach the vaccuum hose to sweep off the gunk. Anyway, I was just curious if anyone else had this feature, option, or whatever you want to call it.

Nothing like that in ours. We have the standard hard panel ceiling. I've seen a lot of fancy ceilings in different rigs but don't recall ever seeing a carpeted one.
