Cable TV

We just purchased a small RCA LED HDTV for the Sunline. Is there anything we need to bring to hook up the TV at RV parks, other than the standard cable. Will the TV just come on with available stations or will we have to change settings in the TV's menu? We're not hooking it up at home to Satellite Dish so the trip will be the first time the TV gets turned on.

Each time you camp, you will probably have to do a channel search. That's what I do... Make sure you select "Cable" in the menu and always make sure the booster is turned off...

A standard coax should do just fine. You will have to set the TV to "cable" and then scan for stations. Most cable systems are the old analog so you may have to set that too in the setup menu. Most over the air (antenna) signals are digital and you have to do a scan at every location you use the antenna since the digital channel numbers are not the same as the diplayed numbers. .... example Channel 10 in Providence RI is really on channel 51, but in Maine channel 10 is some other actual channel.

{oops, I type too slow !!}
