Bunk Beds

I have an 1986 16 foot Sunline Saturn travel trailer and I was wondering how much weight the top beds will support. Was thinking of cutting some plywood and getting a couple small mattresses for my grandson and his cousins to sleep up there. They're 6-8 years old.

Welcome to the forum drayweb.

I have seen it posted (somewhere around here) that the fold down upper bunk can hold 100 pounds. Hopefully someone can verify that and if they were able to reinforce the support for greater weight.

drayweb,

Welcome. I think I remember seeing/reading the same thing Gene said.
