Awning Pull Handles

Hi,

I am new to the Forum. I have a 1991 Sunline Star Ray 17'. It has been in our family for 8 years. I have been pacthig it up as I go. Last year I rebuilt the front end framing. I had the opportunity to buy my parents 5th wheel but I am not quite ready to let the Sunline go.

I broke one of the Awning pull handles last year and I am wondering if anyone knows where to get one. My awning is a Sunburst Norseman Awning.

Thanks,

Scott

Well, I hope someone can answer that because I am looking for obsolete Dometic awning handles and no luck. Be prepared to spend approximately $30 each IF you can find them..sorry for the bad news..;-(

I guess I am a little dense but what is the awning pull handle?

All I can imagine is the strap that attaches to the roller tube and winds up with the awning or the metal rod that hooks into the loop on the strap to unroll the awning.

Gene..he is referring to the lift handles on the awning arms to "lift" the arms into place..as in "extending" them..

If these are the lift handles near the bottom of the awning that lift the arms up, I bought a new 1 last summer at Camping World. they were around $19.00 a piece.they were the Dometic brand.exactly the same as the other handle..

easy to replace. you'll need a drill and pop rivet tool.
