A Sunline Senior Citizen?

While out and about today and doing reconnaissance on the Woodward Caverns CG in central PA, this stopped us in our tracks - we had to check it out. Fortunately, we had our camera so we took some pixs and are hoping that someone (SunlineFan?) knows the year, size, etc. The curtains were drawn on the window so we couldn't snoop... I mean, look... inside. A man from two sites down saw us and came down to make sure that we weren't "up to no good." He told us that the little Sunline was an auxiliary camper to a much bigger Springdale next to it. The people use it as a "spare room" when family and friends visit. (CG was mostly seasonal campers.) I'm on one of the pixs for "perspective" purposes, Matthew thinks the Sunny was no more than 10' long. If it is a mid-to-early 70s model it was in very good shape on the outside for its age.

OMG!!! Never seen that before! It definitely looks about 10' long, and is a 1977, maybe late '76. The VIN tag is probably readable though given the condition. That rear decal started out as a plastic one, but then they made them into decals that just didn't last. That's by far the best I've ever seen!

Perhaps this was a prototype for the Sunspot?

Do you have some higher res versions you could send me?

Thanks for posting!

Sent from my iPhone on the Tapatalk app!

Anita,

Wow, the Sportable is neat, a little more stylish than what we saw! It does resemble a square teardrop. We actually left a note on their "main" trailer telling the owners that if they want to sell it, we'd be interested. Don't know why we want it - we have a 2363 - but this one's so DARN cute! (Oh no, have we caught a case of Sunlinitis?)

Kathy, Jim, & Gene - How old do you have to be to be a Sunline Senior Citizen?
