2004 sunline solar 25'

I have a chance to buy a sunline solar, but I don't know much about them? I think the only issue is with the awning, is that an expensive fix? Any info on the sunline solar 25' trailer would be much appreciated ??

Thanks
Mike

Morning Mike,

Welcome to the group and congrats on considering the purchase of a Sunline.

Sunline is now out of business, but don't let that scare you. They were a very well built TT compared to a LOT of what else is out there. It was a sad day when they shut down.

As for the awning, cost to repair/replace will depend on "what" is wrong with it. If fabric is ripped you can purchase replacement fabric, if any of the mechanism is bad, I believe you can also find just about any part you'd need to repair it.

Can't tell you too much about the trailer specifically without knowing the model #. That should be on a plate outside the main entrance door, or on a spec sheet located inside one of the cabinet doors.

If you can get the VIN #, send it to SunlineFan in a privae message and he might be able to tell you more about the Sunline in question. He is our resident Sunline historian.

Also, if it would be possible for you to get pictures of interior & exterior and post them, there are many "eyes" on this site that could give it a look over to see if anything unusual jumps out as a problem.

Kitty

We replaced our 17 foot awning on our 195SR and all new hardware two years ago at a RV dealer for about $1000.00.

We just bought a $14 roll of awning repair tape on Ebay and are hoping it will hold the awning up for a couple of years. Lots of options, as Kitty says, depending on the extent of the damage. We bought a 25' T-250 Solaris SR in good shape.. but did find issues with the water tank and broken leaf springs. Do have someone with "RV Knowhow" check it out. Not to say don't buy it, but to get a good deal if it has issues that need repair. Almost any defect can be fixed, especially with help from the good members of this site. They are most generous with their time spent helping others !
