Was the switch turned on? It is usually located on the wall in the kitchen area near the sink or stove.

Is it possible that the on demand switch be located in the Shurflo 2088?

I was told that I might have an inline switch which would not send juice to the wires unless the water is turned on. Any ideas? Thanks again..

Yes, there is a switch inside the pump that starts pumping when the pressure goes down, like when you turn on a faucet. You do need 12 volt power to the pump terminals before the internal switch will turn on the pump to draw water from the fresh water tank.
There should be an external switch that will send 12 volts to the water pump terminals. The pump will turn on and start "pumping" even without freshwater. Letting the pump run while dry is not good, it can end up overheating. Earlier you said you tested it with a battery so I presume you were testing it dry just to see if it spins. Mounted in the camper it would also spin IF power is getting to the terminals.

Good morning Gene, I'm in Johnston. Looked for switch yesterday but no luck. Tried to see if I could fine an inline switch also but must be behind a wall.

we have a 1985 Sunline and my husband converted our hot water heater to electric and we love it not having to fool with propane and trying to get it lit every time we went camping. we bought our conversion kit for around 100.00 and it was worth every penny and we are camping on cool nites we use a small electric heater for heat and it works great . we got one we a thermostate on it and set it at nite and it will come off and on as needed . just a suggestion as we love the total electric way...

Have you looked at this "sticky"? There is a section on posting from ones' computer.
I have been saving mine to Photobucket and then linking to them rather than embedding them in the post.
