1000 members!
Wow, SOC now has 1000 members with Retired & Rolling Alo from Southeast MI joining today.
Hmm, the Midwest M&G is in Hillsdale. Maybe they'll join us.

Yeah, 217 new members in one year. That's one about every 40 hrs.

Emam,
Above the E-bay bar, click Memberlist. Then, in the drop downs, select Date Joined and Ascending then Sort. They are numbered along the left. It may take a while for the ones who joined later as there are only 50 to a page and if you reverse to descending, the numbers change. We are #478. I remember because that is part of our phone #. We joined Dec. 1, 2007.

Kitty you so have me beat!! We were #112 and it says we joined on Nov/25/2006 - that was right before we left Michigan and went on the road fulltime
It also says we have 815 posts to date, so I'm thinking that there are a bunch of people between #112 and #1 who have never posted, so I'm guessing my first comments of remembering everyone on the forum were true

There are quite a few who haven't posted, ever, or have only posted once or twice. When we all joined, well maybe for user #500 and lower, there were quite a few more members. I had Sarah delete a bunch of the spam type accounts, so she just deleted every account that had never been confirmed through the e-mail link. If I recall that eliminated about 100-150 members at the time.
I'm #120, joined on December 6, 2006 and this will be post #2002. JohnB has me beat for number of posts by quite a few now!
Maybe we should come up with some custom decals with our member numbers to put on our coaches like the Airstream and Newmar clubs have.
Jon

Cindy asked me one day after we were talking with Airstream owners "Why dont we have numbers like that for the Sunline Club?"
So I think you might be onto something Jon

I think if we decide to do something, it shouldn't just be cheap mailbox numbers from a hardware store. Those remind me too much of the Waldenwoods designations...

We should come up with something we can all agree on and then use a company where they'll all be the same.
This way it looks official and could even incorporate the Suling Club Logo in or on the numbers

Hi Everyone,
Well, here's two options I came up with. These are only preliminary and would need some work (to the logo) before they could be printed, but this is so you get an idea. When I created the club logo, it was before I had much experience in doing that sort of thing, so the work I did was marginal at best. So the lines on this logo aren't very clear. Anyway, I added in the extra bar we all know of that displays the web address, because I thought that would be a key part. I always thought it looked a bit goofy and I think it would be inappropriate for this situation, since it is more of a status/prestige thing than an advertisement. So I have two options, one with the web address and one without. In this case too, I think whatever is on top needs to be as short as possible, so removing this bar makes the logo shorter and less square.
Here is the Newmar Kountry Klub (Newmar owner's club) member decal, for comparison sake. Keep in mind this still has the top paper on:
My thinking is we could have this decal available in black, dark blue, dark red, dark green, or even a dark tan, pending available vinyl colors of course, so that it could be matched best with everyone's coach. It could be matched with the general striping colors or it could be matched with the top color aluminum band on the upper sides of the coach.
The best part of this being only one color is that it could be made of a solid color vinyl, so it won't fade out like the trailer logos. I also chose a number font with as few small extremities as possible so there is less of a likelihood for something to start peeling.
Here is OPTION 1, with the web address bar:
Here is OPTION 2, without the bar:
If there is a general interest in either of these or any additional submissions, I can create a new topic with a poll to have a vote between them.
Jon

Jon,
We like the 2nd one without the web address (it matches our 1997 logo LOL) with a solid bar. How about just one color--a shade of gold? Gold would look okay with any color stripe and we all know Sunline's are golden!

I'm pretty open. I like both designs, but the one without the website looks more clean
I dont care about colors either. I'm thinking having the option would be better because we dont have any striping or colors except for one Sunline Logo on front and back.
I'd want mine in red or blue because our entire camper is red, white and blue
