Gary, you and Kitty are two wonderful people. Barbara and I are saddened that Kitty lost her battle, and we are so inspired by the can-do spirit that was a trademark of all she did. Your commitment to her completed a relationship that was just meant to be and we know it kept her going.
Our condolences to you, your son and Kitty's son Tom.
Barbara and Rich

Dear Kitty,

I know you are looking down on us and wondering what is all this fuss about. Well, it is about you. Before SOC came to be, you were one of the ones who convinced Cindy and I to go look at a Sunline. We did not know you then however your open passion on camping forums about Sunline, the way they did business and the quality of camper they built, we just had to go look. And we found as you had, I think about 14 some Sunnies ago then… one walk through and it sealed the deal. That is now 9 years ago.

Since then we have become very good friends on and off the forum, camped together and had memorable and enjoyable times. Your camper mod’ing skills are second to none. First the ideas and then the execution, you loved power tools… And your towing skills, we admire you and still to this day have no idea how you backed the T299 up the hill and parked it behind your house. I remember at Buttonwood you saying to me, “You know, I need to put on a towing session for the women, they can do this.” Yes, you are right and you are an extraordinary women.

You are now at peace with God and you can go camping again with Mom out west and get back into mod’ing with power tools. I know I will think of you the next time I start some kind of mod on the camper. What would Kitty think? We will miss you, always. God bless you and keep looking out for us as we will always remember you.

Gary,

You are one of the miracles in Kitty’s life. I remember her telling me, “I never thought I would meet someone like Gary this late in life. I just can’t believe it.” Everything about you has been positive for Kitty and she was so fortunate to have you help her through this time in her life. God has a plan for all of us even if we do not always understand it. We sense your pain and we are here for you on or off the forum. It is now your time to heal. You are a good friend with a good heart ready to help anyone in need. Now it is our time to help you, just ask. God bless and we will pray you find peace.

John and Cindy

Gary, may you find comfort knowing Kitty is free of pain in God's warm embrace and peace knowing she recognized the blessing she received when you entered her life. I remember one of her posts where she stated "3 years ago I had an absolutely wonderful man enter my life..."

Kitty helped many members here at SOC by sharing her knowledge and posts about the modifications she made to her many Sunlines. Her power tool skills are to be commended - I'm sure Jon will forever treasure his 2008 Sunline.

RIP Kitty, you'll be missed by many until we join you at that great meet & greet in Heaven.

Gary and family, I'm so sorry to hear of Kitty's passing.

It has taken me over twenty four hours to clear my head and be able to respond after learning within an hour yesterday of three friends passing over the weekend.

We were fortunate to meet Kitty at the second Buttonwood Meet-n-greet. Our sites were back to back and we quickly were drawn together over our puppies. Carol and Kitty were also both dealing with their elderly moms and spent time talking about that.

Since then I have enjoyed talking to her and following her Sunline exploits on here!!!

We certainly will never forget yours and Kitties' offer to come to our aid when Carol broke her ankle last year in Harpers Ferry.

Carol and I send our deepest sympathy.

Mack

Boy that sounds like something that both of them would do.....even with Kitty having her own problems.

Least us forget, Kitty put everyone ahead of herself!

Really did not know Kitty , but always read her posted messages . Maybe i did know her more than I thought . Always a shock to here when a loved one passes on even when you know it's getting close.

A sad chill went through me as I read the beginning of this thread. So sad to hear of Kitty's passing. She was the straw that stirred our club and we will miss her much at our yearly M & G's.

Our heartfelt deepest sympathies go out to Gary and the family, and we know it is a difficult time now, but we look forward to June when we can gather together as one to smile and remember Kitty while sitting around a campfire. Just like she would want us to.

I am so sorry to hear this news. Kitty was one of the first RV'ers I met on the road. May she rest in peace, and thanks Gary for being there for her. Jack
