Wall clock
Hey gang, does anyone know where I can get a new wall clock or the mechanical innards for mine. Have tried changing the battery a few times with little or no luck. It will only keep correct time for about 6 hours. Help!
Dave

Try a search for battery clock movements. You will find a bunch of movements for under $10 at Amazon or even Walmart. Craft or hobby shops would be another thought.

I buy mine on eBay, cheap. Like 2 for $3.00 including shipping. I get the steady run movement, no more click, click, click.

I'm not kidding
Dave, before you do anything, soak that sucker in WD40.
I put plastic wrap under the movement to protect the clock back, held it upside down and hosed 'er down. Let it dry and problem is gone.

No, I just removed the battery and teased WD40 into every opening. Let it sit awhile then I blew it out with a can of compressed air I keep by the computer. I fixed a pendulum wall clock the same way.
Whattayagot to lose?

H'mm, OK I'll give ours a try. It does not hold time either. Runs slow.
I'll let you know the outcome once I give it a try.
Thanks!

Wall clock
I did better than that. Found some vendor on line that offered 2 for less than $4. And FREE SHIPPING. Killed an afternoon sitting in the shade with a couple of beers and replaced the guts on the original clock. AND, I've got the other one to repair a broken clock at home. Life is good! Lol

I got one in my model t-2499 that I've never put batteries in. Guess it would work. Looks brand new.
