Power
Well I have sorted the gas stove , and just finished and checked off the plumbing , it's all good to go , however...... the gas heater for the hot water and fridge are pretty much stuffed , do these run on 110v or 12v, there is a power plug and socket in with the fridge gas panel outside , does this run the fridge or hot water , I have no idea , I can take photos of anyone needs them ,

Depends on year or module of the units. The fridge usually will run on one or the other the water heater usually on gas but some had electrical heaters too.

Ok yea I have a power cord coming from somewhere , not sure if it was fridge or heater , it's the last thing to sort out before the fun times of redecorating the inside start , it's been a full remodel . If it is stuffed I might go with an instant heater

The fridge has a short power cord it's in the hatch on the outside with a dedicated outlet.

Found it , the fridge still won't start up , is it a dud? Should I just rip it out and replace with a bar fridge?

They make absolutely no noise if they are working properly and will take hours to cool off from warm. Two things, see if the chimney is getting warm first it's a vertical tube on the right side (inside of the compartment) give it a 1/2 hour if it is that's good wait a good 3 hours then open the freezer door and see if that's getting cold. It's not the kind of fridge that you can leave the door open and decide what to have for dinner but I would never swap mine for a dorm fridge.

Just had the whole camper hooked up to the mains and the fridge make a lot of noise , it gets cold only around the door but that's it , I'm really thinking of replacing it , but don't know if a normal dorm fridge can fit through the door

Too late , I tote the fridge out today , I'm glad because it was leaking water at the back pretty bad , no coolness after 24 hours of running and very loud , like an air conditioner . I'm looking at a tiny bar fridge and a replacement electric water heater . I'm thinking in around a month it should all be installed and my very patient wife can start thinking about decorating , lol , but mainah you have been absolutely great with info and advice ! I'll have pics up once everything is cleaned and tidied !

Can you take a picture of the old one? The only sound I have ever heard was a gurgling sound when they are low on refrigerant there really are no moving parts. Your old water heater can be fitted with an electric element it could save you a lot of effort.

The picture is pure curiosity if it's making strange noises I would like to know what the unit is even a module number or make would work.

The noise came from the box underneath it , it was pumping air through a vent at the bottom of the fridge and into the bathroom , also the chimney wasn't warm at all , just a lot of water and noise , .....the fridge is bigger than the door so there's not much left of it lol ,
