file downloads

When ever I try to download a file I get the following message."Slow Down! You are trying to download files too quickly. You must wait 57 seconds before you may download another file." any ideas?

Please try logging out and then logging in again. Then try the download and be patient and wait until it downloads (sometimes it's a bit slow). Then wait a couple of minutes and do the next download.

Can you tell me what browser you are using and what document you were trying to download?

Is there a specific file that is causing this issue?

I've tried several files. I just tried using Window internet explorer and got the same results.

Steve/Ellie, Did you try to empty your history/cache/cookies? Perhaps you have a bad cookie. Close all tabs and pages before dumping everything.

Trying to download files, while on my cell phone yields the same results every time. My guess, is that the browser or the phone is trying more than once, to initiate the download.

Out of curiosity, what type of internet connection do you have?
