Welcome to Sunline

From start to finish, everything's built here

Bare frame waiting for body

The assembly line where the units would roll down the line - you can see the different stages of construction - notice the tag on the tongue jack which displays the model

This is the beginning of the assembly line - bare frames were delivered from metal factory that moved down the street just to be closer to Sunline

Top grade lumber used for assembly

That's a 24' piece of OSB

Sunline worker standing in the middle of the assembly line - notice that this model doesn't have a fully supported roof

Outside framing section of the assembly line

Frame built construction like a house

Assembled frames ready for instalation - frames are all pre-assembled by one person to speed the process up

Window and door surround section

Unit getting wired up on the underside - they would build in right-side up untill they got to this point and then turn the entire trailer on its side and finish wiring the underside

Cabinets waiting to be installed - cabinets are framed like homes to keep weight down and create a stiffer product

Cindy & Carl watching the units being built - the upstairs was where the carpenters pre-built the sections and downstairs was where the units were put together

Carl & Cindy standing beside the one piece rubber roofing material

Insulating the Roof

Notice the Sunline worker sanding a piece so everything lines up perfect - you can also see the different models in various stages

Hardwoods laminated on the outside - these were waiting to be stained

Installing the heat and electrical systems

Heating ducts being run

Etched glass in the doors - the cabinet doors are the only thing that Sunline farmed out besides the metal frame

Screwing the framework together

Sheets of laminate waiting to be used

Slide-outs pre-built waiting to be installed

Solid construction

Stapled, glued and screwed - something not everyone does

Sunline TT waiting for the roof to be installed

Routing out the 24' long piece of OSB - this is where you won't ever see the difference in extra time and materials

Two-way shades and screens - another indication why Sunlines are higher-end trailers

One-piece solid roof

Final inspection area - you can see the hoses hooked up to the front for pressure testing of all the lines

This is the last run before they leave the facility

Ours is the all white one in the middle - we chose to not have them put any graphics on the fiberglass so we could have custom graphics installed - the only thing they had on was a Sunline logo on

Looking out the back window of our new 2499 in the Sunline lot
