And yes, once you get it put on, 303 right after is A OK. He can 303 the entire sun exposed outside wrap of awning too. ...

Good to hear from you. Yes I know the problem. The last 1 foot of awning exposed to the sun takes a beating. For the future after your repair suggest using 303 Aerospace UV...
