Alice, yes the door needs to be (must be) propted open to dry out after you shut the fridge down. You can go a day or so closed but when you start reaching 4 to 7 days, mold grows for real.... yuk

Hi Fellow Sunline Campers

Here are some simple fridge mod’s that we use each time we go camping. Most are adaptations to a store bought unit that did not work as well as we would of liked.
