To be honest, not sure. The limit switch(s) always stop it at the end of it's travel. Just once I tried to reverse direction instantly and went "oh darn" .... (or something to that efect ;) )

I was refering to reversing direction while the motor is spinning. When you release the up/down switch the motor still spins a bit. If you instantly change direction before it stops the fuse blows.
