Would the valve fit if you loosened the shower...

Would the valve fit if you loosened the shower faucet from the wall, screw the valve on, then put the faucet back on the wall?

No ours doesn't shut off 100%. Most shower valves are made to allow a trickle of water. I think it's so you don't get a blast of hot water when you turn the water back on. But in most rv's it seems...
