Now you tell us. We put all the tape the same direction (horizontal) inside and out as we just wanted to get it taped before it fell apart. Maybe we will add another vertical layer on the inside...

Here it is from the inside. Thank goodness the shattered glass is still in place because it is going down to 28 tonight and at least the taped glass is another layer keeping out the cold.

Not yet. We decided to board up the window to get home and then worry about it. Here is our fix from the outside. We used 1-1/2 rolls of Gorilla tape to totally cover the glass inside and outside....
