Yours looks to be the next generation. Mine, the grab handle goes across the lens. See the channel in lens for this. the grab handle is attached by screws top and bottom of bezel.

Is your lens like this one? If so I made a mold of the one off my '83 T-1550. The grey master is the original lens (which was in real bad shape) reworked to allow me to cast a new lens.
