Sorry. I meant that AC isn't needed for the antenna itself. Your TV will plug into the same outlet. The Jack antenna power supply is powered from 12v in your TT.

AC was not needed in my installation. Only 12v DC from the battery. If you have a 12v TV, you're all set. The AC adapter would be used if you were going to install it for home use.

Lynn, mine didn't come with an AC adapter - just the 12v DC power supply. Wired it straight to the hot side of a 12v DC ceiling light fixture. Crank-up upgrades might be different, don't know.
