The bumper is very light thin steel the 78# hanging over the edge of the bumper is a lot different than sitting on top of it. There are many stories of bumpers falling off or tearing at the welds...

Hum I see a weight of 134# for the Honda 3000. Either way even if you have a lighter one I still would not trust the bumper. Maybe get a welder to make a frame mount with a 2" receiver and a carry...
