Hi JohnB, If it is not installed then why ask how to test it "after I have removed from cabinet"? That is what made me think it is still installed and connected to gas/electric so he could check...

I think it would be better to check the fridge while in the original installed position. Instead of actual fridge problems you may have circulation problems where a animal has built a nest around...
