Looking for an 05 Hub Cap Info

I’m looking for an 05 Hub Cap. It looks like this (without the SOC magnet ):

I lost one on the road coming home from camping today and I’m trying to find a manufacturer, part number, etc. to call the dealership tomorrow for a replacement. My search on the internet has come up empty so far.

Can anyone provide me with some assistance on specifically what I should ask for when I call the parts department.

Or if you happen to be traveling Rt. 15 or I-390 north from Tioga, PA to Rochester, NY and see it along side the road, it’s mine

Thanks
Hutch

Hutch,

I did a quick scan at the trailer supply store where I do some shopping and found something similar in their parts dept.
page 9 on this pdf http://www.redneck-trailer.com/2006/E.pdf had a small picture of what you're looking for made my Phoenix USA... I suppose it's called a 'chrome hub cover'. No idea if that'd be a match to your 3 or an OEM part Sunline used... hope that helps a little.

Take care,
Jason

Jason & Jon,

Thanks for the info. That helps a lot.

Jon, mine look more like these Phoenix QuickTrim 6-Lub Hub Covers:
http://www.consumersmarine.com/modpe...i=25195&r=view

My 280 was built in Aug-04. Do you think they used these Hub Covers then?

Again thanks for all your help - you've put me on the right track.
See you in a couple of weeks.
(Hopefully with 4 hub covers if not hid your's, because I'll be doing nightly walks )
Hutch

Humm.......made me re-think the words to one of my favorite songs, with apologies to Rodney Atkins.......

"Come on in Hutch sit on down
And tell me about yourself
So you like my coach do you now?
Yeah we think she's something else
She's her daddy's coach
Her momma's Sunny
She deserves respect
That’s what she'll get
Ain’t it Hutch?
Hey y'all run along and have some fun
I'll see you when you get back
Bet I’ll be up all night
Still cleanin' this gun"

And for those who might not take this for the joke that it is....

"Now it's all for show
Ain’t nobody gonna get hurt
It’s just a daddy thing
And hey, believe me, man it works"

Now why didn't I think of that - duh
I was upset about the missing hub cover, never thought about taking off one of the others to look for a manufacture & part number. Went up to the trailer this evening and confirmed I have Phoenix hub covers. Ordered one from the dealership this evening. Hope it comes in before the M&G.

George, since your not bring your gun - what type of hub covers do you have one your Sunline? (That could be my back-up plan )

Thanks everyone for your help.
Loved the song George - can't wait to hear you sing it at the M&G :P

You're right, since I wasn't planning on bringing my gun, I have a backup plan too ......He's called DUDLEY........the 100 + lb. BULLDOG.....(what else would a guy who goes by MACK have ) that is very fond of his air conditioned dog house on wheels

Although, I just did some research and there is a Sporting Clays/Trap range about 20 miles from Buttonwood......might have to re-think not bringing..........

P.S.

Hutch that would be a guaranteed early end to the meet-n-greet.

OK, after all the smart @$$ed comments last year, guess who's going to be looking for a hubcap at this year's M&G

I guess my guy who did my bearing repack and brake inspection didn't get one on tight 'cause I lost one on our first trip of the year.

So, I guess I'll be pulling a cap and getting the info

Hi Mack

See here. I bought 5 of these this spring with my new axle stuff

Quick Trim at Trailer Parts They where $5.29 each

The darn Dexter ones with the metal tabs cost $15 each and I needed 2 of them, and allready last year replaced 2 of them.... So I spent $26.45 for 5 Quick Trim, 1 spare in place of $30 for 2 that I have not had much luck with.

For the price, I'm sure these are off shore made and do not know if they will hold up any better. But I did spray them with 303 to help the brittleness over time.

Hope this helps

John
