What are some tips for introverts to make it through group trips and vacations?

As an introvert, I usually go crazy when I'm on trips because I never have time alone. It's even harder because I often travel with school groups so I need to follow "the buddy system." How can I survive my next trip?!?

I don't mean to belittle your request, but we RVers tend to be a social bunch. You may be asking the wrong folks. If you are minor and must follow adult directions, your problem may have no solution. That being said here goes:
Quality "me" time can only be assured if you have a solo activity to engage in. My wife stiches on camping trips and will often retreat to our site for quiet time to sew. I always have a book with me. I have left groups and explained that I just got a call from Frederick Forsythe and must excuse myself.
