Off to Tybee Island, Ga.

Penny and I are leaving early Wednesday morning for "the islands, mahn." This will be the Taj's longest trip to date. I figger it'll take 'bout 8 hrs.

Enjoy! We were in Savannah in December and stayed at Ft. McAlister State Park in Richmond Hill. If you get the hankering for a drive, and like history, the tour of the fort was pretty cool, and Fish Tales restaurant about a mile outside the park was fantastic.

Eat at Tubby's Tank House. There's one on the River Walk in Savannah and another in Thunderbolt out on Tybee. Have a beer for me while you are there. It's my favorite place to sit out on the deck over a lazy meal and watch the world stroll by.
