Need OEM interior specs

I'm hoping that maybe somebody that has an original Sunspot could help us out with some measurements of the interior seats, table, and how they all work together. I have a blank slate to work on, but would very much like a couple seats (that converted to a bed) that had a table between them for interior activities.

Any help GREATLY appreciated! Thanks.

Frank

I can help with that but it may take me a little while. I just returned from a week in the great town of Morris, MN and have got a bunch of writing to finish on this visit. I leave for Alaska on the 31st of this month so I will try my best to get some dimensions and photos up. Sorry I can't do it this weekend but work still pays the bills I do have both sets of cusions, the table and the table stand. Let me know what else you need.

That would be great. I have made up some plans, but would very much like to know how Sunline did seats and a dinette table that convert to a full bed. It's not easy to understand from their old brochures. This is a site I found for table pedestals and bases: RV Furniture pedestal table legs, bases

We just got Spot last Saturday, and it won't be till Sunday I can "play" with it. I have a number or projects for it planned, and have plenty to keep me occupied for a while. This week I removed the hubs and over the last couple days have cleaned them like new and just put on three coats of paint tonight. Once I pack the bearings and re-install them I can get the trailer out of my little pole barn over to my shop. I can't get it in my shop, it's too tall, but all my tools are there. I may start a re-wire of it this weekend. I need to clean some stuff out of it, and take some measurments. It's a clean slate to build in, so any suggestions you have on how OEM could be improved would be appreciated too.

I take it you travel and write as a job. What do you write about and for who?

Thanks!

Frank

Frank,
It appears I will not have time to dig everything out before I have to leave. Check out

Welcome to Facebook - Log In, Sign Up or Learn More

Meet Dot. She is on the Facebook Sunlinine Club and she has a Sunspot that is a little more original than any of mine. She has a dandy. Check her out and her pictures. She has great pictures of the interior with cushions and table. If you are not a Facebook member, maybe Jon can help introduce you two. I will check back in when I return, somewhere around the 16th. Sorry

That is VERY helpful, thank you. Seeing Spot is a "blank canvas", we will probably customize ours so we have two seats facing a table and no galley. That is in part because we already have a lot of camp cook "stuff", and will retain that set-up and add it to our camp.

Really, the whole plan is still in consideration.

Thanks again!

Frank
