I promised a few people from the M&G this when the recipe forum started. Well I forgot! Sorry.
1 large head broccoli.
1 medium onion. We used a red onion.
1/2 cup raisins
8 to 10 slices crispy bacon.
1 cup mayo. We used low fat.
1/4 to 1/2 cup sugar to your taste.
2 to 3 Tbls vinegar also to your taste.
Cut broccoli into bite sized pieces. Dice onion. Crumble bacon into bits. Mix mayo, sugar and vinegar together and fold into broccoli mixture. Let stand for 1 hour in fridge before serving.
