Just my opinion. If you are touring the area, (especially the colonial stuff), you may want to stay closer to Williamsburg and drive to the beach. Both the KOA and Trav-L-Park are located south of the beach. To get to Wmsbg., you'd have to traverse the entire area just to get out of town (so to speak). Traffic in that area is bad.
I live in Richmond so touring that area is a one hour drive for me. I've not camped near Williamsburg. I did see the article in the last issue of
Trailer Life about this place

From what I hear, this park is also a good bet
