Yarberry Campground, Lenoir City, TN

We just came back from a 3 day weekend at Yarberry campground. Yarberry is located on a peninsula on Lake Fort Loudon which is fed by the Tennessee river. The campground is located on Hwy. 321 between Lenoir City and Maryville. It is close to I40 and I75 and easy driving distance to Knoxville, Gatlinburg, etc.

We really enjoyed our stay there. Our waterfront site was mostly level and spacious with lots of trees and riverbank. The fishing was great, the bathhouse was really clean albeit small with only two stalls and one shower. We hooked up to water and electric. Walking around the campground most of the roads and sites are gravel. They had a honey wagon service which we didn't use. The roads are on different levels so maybe the sound carried differently as the campground seemed really quiet even though it was pretty full.

My husband fished right below our site and caught 8 good sized catfish. The campground rents boats, has tent sites, a boat dock and is in the process of building more sites and adding other amenities. We were in lot 69 which was great but #67 was our favorite. I also liked 71, 17-21, 25, 31 and 33.

Yarberry Campground - Beautiful Lakefront Camping

Thanks for the great info my wife and I just got our first camper and we are really new at all this. We live in Huntsville Tn so that's not that far for us it may be a great place to do our first trip with the camper since it's not too far from home if something happens. Thank you have a great day

Love the review with details! This is about 60 miles from our home, good to know as you were close to Fort Loudoun State Historical Area, Sequoyah Museum and so much more we want to visit!
