PA-Yogi Bear Mill Run

Just got back from a weekend at this CG in SW PA. We camped here because we were rafting on the Yough on Saturday.
If you are looking for a CG with lots of activities for kids, this is probably a good place. They have 2 swimming pools, a water slide, a miniature golf course, a playground, volleyball court, frequent hayrides, a paintball area, and frequent noisy hayrides.
This weekend was their early Halloween celebration, with decorated sites, lots of activities, and frequent noisy hayrides. They even had their own noisy firetruck
If you are just looking for a base to do all of the things that this area of the Laurel Highlands has to offer, this place is too crowded, too busy, too noisy, and way too expensive ($55 per night on the weekend).

You may have had a better time staying at Laurel Hill SP. It has been a while since I have been there, but there are some nice spots.

There is also a very flat open section that might be good for kids---and keeping an eye out for them.

Have you ever been there?

Mark-We have not stayed at any SP because we prefer full hook up sites. I don't believe most SP's offer that.
Our "kids" are not really kids anymore. My "baby" will be a freshman in college this year. My wife's daughter will be 27 later this month! So kid friendly is not what we need. We chose this place because it was close to Ohiopyle and easy for all of our "guests" to find/get to. Lori's daughter,, her fiancee and Lori's brother and his 12 yo daughter were along for at least some of the weekend. With our small sewer tanks we would have been full before we left for our raft trip Saturday morning! We usually keep the gray tank open until late Saturday, then close it to collect some gray water to flush with when we drain on Sunday.
We did drive by Lake Erie SP near Westfield about a week ago. I can see why you like that place. Very nice area.
Thanks,
