Need Info For MD - Deep Creek Lake

We are planning a week-long trip to Deep Creek Lake in Western MD this summer so I'm looking for campground info or recommendations. Staying for a week, we definitely want full hookups so that pretty much rules out the state parks. The only local campground I can find is the Double G RV Park in McHenry. This looks nice but I can't find any reviews online which seems odd. Does anyone have any experience with the Double G or have any other suggestions? Thanks in advance!

We ended up staying 7 nights at the Double G RV Park and it worked out pretty well. It is close to most Deep Creek Lake attractions. They only have less than a dozen transient campsites and the rest are all permanents. The staff and regulars were very friendly. Our site was #9 on the end next to the main road so we had a good bit of traffic for the campground and the boat storage lot. All of the sites are full-hookup back-ins with no trees, are pretty wide and slope off in the back. They all have a picnic table and a fire ring at the front of the site by the road. They offer xfinity cable TV which worked well (you have to pay a $60 refundable deposit for the box) but the Wi-Fi service was very spotty and we often couldn't get a connection on our iPad. Our electric voltage started to get a little low by Friday when the CG filled up for the weekend. It also would be nice if they had some additional amenities such as a pool.

Overall, I would give the Double G RV Park a 6.5 on a scale of 1-10.
