An update: We just camped at Cunningham Falls for two nights in the first week of September. A VERY nice campground with 5 loops for camping, however, only the ‘A’ loop (called Addison Hill) has electric; the other loops are rustic. We camped in the ‘A’ loop at a little over $30.00/night. Almost all sites were large, level, and easy to back into; my brother who just bought an expandable backed into his site on the first try. Most sites have shade; it’s a wooded area, lots of nice hikes. No WiFi but good cell service for both Verizon & ATT. Second night of our stay was a Friday and the campground was surprisingly quiet for being full. We’ll camp here again! (Only problem: There was roadwork on Rte. 77 which is an access road to the park. GoogleMaps took us in by Catoctin Hollow Rd., a very narrow road with a 25 mph speed limit. At times we had to come to a complete stop to let traffic by.)
