Our 1950 will be at Stoltzfus on February 6. It would be great if the next owner is or becomes a member of SOC.

I'm still pinching myself that we are actually getting a 2499!!

Looks like the weather for this weekend is snow mix on Friday and then snow on Saturday so guess we will fire up the furnace in the 1950 and start cleaning it out. We plan on taking out all the dishes, lawn chairs, hoses, etc., and putting the original comforter and pillow shams on the bed.

Good idea to empty it out a home. Give you a chance to "thin down" stuff in case you were hauling any unused items. When you just move the stuff from one rig to the other on the dealers lot, well it ALL goes back into the new rig.

CONGRATS and if you have any Sunline owners club cards, place a few in your 1950 so hopefully the new owner will join our group. If not, just leave a note or two about us.

Kitty

Well another convert from the 1950 - we also traded up from a 1950 to a 2499 and just love the extra room....

Congrats - and enjoy it.

Kitty, thinning out is on the list of things to do this weekend. If it snows as predicted, we will just plug in to electric and run the furnace and pack and clean in comfort.

Kathy and Leo, I remember when you got your 2499!! I'm sure we will love the extra room as mucha s you do. :P

Paul and Terri, thanks for the hitch offer. We are going with the larger Equalizer and letting our current one go with the 1950.

I think I'll call Buttonwood tomorrow and change to a different site, perhaps a pull-through.

Perhaps we should start the "Tweety" Award for the SOC member who has found the most other Sunline's for members!!

Yes it is the header and some people have reinforced the A frame as well. There are MANY posts (see below) on here on how people fixed their frames......we had ours done at a welding shop - they reinforced the header and so far so good!
