Hunting New 2363 or 2499.
Has anyone stumbled across any of these? If so, can you point me to them? Thanks,
PW

Hi PW. This one looks like new, but is a 2006 2499. Lots of good pics on the website. Located in Lakewood, NJ.

Thanks, that is a nice trailer and even the colors I want as I prefer the Brown and Black scheme, like my 1950 has. I contacted the dealer. He wants my 2007 1950 and 6K. Seems somewhat steep to me.

The unit looks to be brand new.....that is something to take a look at.
FYI - we paid $17,900 for our 2007 T2499 - fter we got a price quote, then we brought up our trade and got $11,000 for our 06 T1950.....so if you take a look at it and like it - try to bargin some!

Pam,
That does seem a little steep. The NADA blue book values on your current coach are:
Low Retail: $15,700
Average Retail: $18,910
The NADA blue book values on the '06 2499 are:
Low Retail: $14,530
Average Retail: $17,510
I'd say his "Sale" price is a little high to begin with, so unless you can talk him down some, I'd say let it go. Not to mention you'd have to get it all the way up to NJ to trade it in/pick the new one up. I'll admit this one appears to already have a lift kit on it, so that could be the reason for the extra $$$ in the price.
All in all, I think if he gave you $15,500 for YOUR 1950, plus 3K, that would be a good deal. It depends on how long he's had it. If he just got it, he'll sit on it. If it's been around a while, they'll want to move it. If he still won't budge, see if he'll include extras like new hitch equipment, new hoses/cords, power tongue jack, and other goodies that you would normally pay for. He could easily sell your 1950 for 17K if he tried, making him a pretty good chunk.

Pam,
FYI the 2499 at Colonial just appeared on their website a week or 2 ago. I may be wrong, but based on what I know a 1950 NEW was going for around here, I think 11K for your 1950 is a decent offer from a dealer. Basically you'd be paying a total of $17,000 total for the used 2499. (which does sound a bit high) It's a matter of supply and demand, and how much you'd rather have the larger trailer of course I am not one to miss out on something I really really want, if it's just exactly what I really really want because of the price being a little high. That said, you can probalby get him down a little more. Good luck.

Going to Riceville probably this Friday
Riceville is near Athens, TN. There's a dealer there that no doubt will be easy and honest to work with.
I hope she got a 1950 in trade from someone who is upgrading.
I don't remember the number but you'll want the 24ish set up like the 1950. Great floor plan for 2 if that is what you have.
I'm going to call today to see what Riceville has. I am almost certain she has some bigguns!
Congrats again on your new TV. Next to a Dodge Dually you have the best all around hoss TV going. That IS saying something. Excellent choice! You could pull anything that Sunline has!
So what are you going to do w/ your present 1950 or do you have a Que? Trade it in? Sell it outright?
Best,

A new 2363 in Adamstown, Pa...
There is a new 2363 at the Adamstown Pa. Stolsfuz dealer..saw it Mon. AM and it is gorgeous!! Very different cabinetry (is this something new I wonder?) than I have seen--darker wood with very sleek modern lines ..it may be on their website by now--but call them and ask for Wayne--he is a great guy to work with! their number is 1-800-752-2988...they also have a 2000 2653 with floral upholstery--we bought the '98 2653 they have there..picking it up Friday..

Janalee, Your Sunline is all locked up I went in several that are sitting over at Stoltzfus. The 2363 is actually a used unit, but I can see why you'd have thought it new. It looks and smells new, except for the carpet needing cleaning. The cabinetry is the cherry that we have in the QUE. This is one gorgeous trailer I believe Jo told me the asking price is $18,900. (or $18 something) Also, they have alot more Sunlines than they have on their website.

I hope he posts the pix soon. I am very interested in that trailer as I prefer the 2363 to the 2499. I am going to contact them. I'd love to have it.

I'd love to have it, but I still love my QUE. We aren't quite ready to full time yet. If it was a year from now we'd be down there trading. Pamwinn, I can guarantee you it's like new and smells new. Even the underside looks great. I went over it pretty well, so if you have any questions ask away. The 2363 has always been my favorite short floorplan. It's just so clever the way they squeeze in an extra wardrobe and a pantry, and there is huge amounts of outside storage. I live 5 minutes from there, so if you need me to go check anything out I'll be glad to do it. Lee is on vacation this week, but Jo and Wayne are both nice guys too.

Is it a 2006 or a 2007? What color was the interior. We've driven to PA once for the 1950. SO we can do it again. I actually liked the drive. We went through some gorgeous country in West Virginia. Do you have any idea what the bottom line on it is? Maybe BB would like my 1950.
We spotted another one that is 1000 miles from here. It's a 2007 with the same interior color scheme as my 1950. I really like those colors. It's in Connecticut.
Rex already mapquested it.

It's not the brown interior, it's the blue/tan interior. I didn't think to ask the year. Janalee had said it was "new", so I was thinking 2007. Neither Jo nor Wayne knew the "story" on it, so Lee must have been the one to take it as a trade - and hence be the one who knows the story. It doesn't appear to have any leaks. There's not a window above the bed, but are 2 others that open in the bedroom. There is one in the bathroom, along with a frosted skylight in the shower. Front window doesn't open, but all others do. Carpet is tan, and you'd probably want to shampoo it. TV goes in the front driver side corner on the kitchen counter space, so there's no separate TV cabinet. I wouldn't be able to guess at the bottom line, but we have always felt that we got VERY good prices at Stoltzfus.
