1986 1850 Gooseneck -5th wheel style

First offer to club members on our original cond 5th wheel style , single axle 18 1/2 foot ... Gooseneck style hitch , inside truck bed, B& M has a removable 2 5/16 " ball , to return to Flat floor cargo bed.
Other pics in my album , or posts here on the board.... Current location is north of Chattanooga , TENN,,, BUT a Central Maine trip is planned for Grandkids in July if a N.E. delivery is desired thru early Aug..
Roof air cond,, We used for a few weeks in Jan down to Fla... This style tows Very Well.. We may need a bigger slide rig for winter snow-birding. Very nice kitchen area, orig flower style wallpaper, two tone wood pattern cabinets.
Small tub / shower with sit down platform... Removable orig kitchen table with matching sink cutting board & slide out refrig shelf... NEW 24 " bunk escape roof Vent hatch cover... Bath vent-max smoke color cover & refrig roof cover.
Does have side awning, pull out, but sewing rip needed at this time. (?) Maybe neighbor fix.? ...... $ 2,750 Newer 15 " tires,, good group #27 battery , dual 20 # cyl . Hand crank nose level. rear bumper for good spare tire or bicycle.. Screen door. Thermostat furnace heat. 110 Volt ,OR Propane Refrig & small freezer.

Split, I bought a 1987 F2353 gooseneck trailer just this year. Does your camper have safety chains?

WELCOME J.B... Prior upstate New York here in Tenn... i had a new B& M Hitch
installed in the bed of the pick-up, it has the two spring, pull up U-Bolt hooks.
So I have two chains bolted around the neck support..... I guess one could use the lower 3 / 8 opening in the support shaft to mount chains off that hole.

Thanks.........the previous owner of my "new" rig had no chains whatsoever! I have a bolt through the lowest holes in the tube of the gooseneck that I'm going to attach the chains to. The bed of my truck has rails with the gooseneck plate attached with pins. That is where I'll connect the chains. Former owner did have a break-away switch though.

HELLO Andy,, T hanks for interest and finding the gooseneck thread.
We did sell the Sun Line in the springtime. Nice collector / member in middle Georgia. He also had a late 80 s pick up truck, two tone that made a nice package....Seems like the bed height of those trucks make a nice level package.
