Replacement Parts
Hello, I am new to RVing. I just bought a 1995 Sun line Solaris model T-2475. It is in pretty good shape, but I want to update some things. I am looking for parts manual so that can be sure to order the correct parts, (that will fit). Can I get some help, Please. Thanks

There has never been a parts manual for the Sunlines. Almost everything in a Sunny is standard RV appliances and hardware. If you click on the "Files" tab at the top of any page you will find a wealth of information on items in the Sunline trailers.
If there is some specific part you are looking for feel free to ask here. I am sure someone will know what it is and where to find it.

Brent, Post a picture of what you have to help with your search. Also, it will be helpful if you will post the age, model, size since parts will vary sometimes.

Looking for the plastic lens for a bargman assist handle! It's a 1987 Sunline T22 Model T2261. Approx 3" X 6" by 1/2 inch deep! Know of any websites that carry these? Thanks, Brent
P.S. It's held on with 6 screws!

Please post a pic of the entire Bargman assist handle assembly here in this thread. That way we will all be on the same page for helping you find the lens you need.

It is called a Rock Guard. I found several different vendors on my first google search. Here's just one example: Custom All-Rite RockGuard

There is a "how to" thread in one of the admin forums. If you can post text here, even using Tapatalk, you can post a pic.
Then maybe post a link to a pic of it. There are a bunch of images to be found on an internet search. It is so much easier to help if we can see what are talking about.

I didn't realize it was a Bargman part, but that's been no longer available for a long time now. Your best bet is to make the lens yourself.

I know the entire all plastic assembly was much larger than this metal one, so it would be quite a chore to retrofit. This may work as a direct swap for the later metal one, but the lens is completely different and isn't a direct swap.

This is what I did to replace the lens on my 1983 T1550.
The material (silicone rubber and tinted resin) alone makes it rather expensive unless one uses these materials a lot, which I do.
If interested to see more of the process go to my albums and click "show all albums".
If you post pictures of your lens, I may be able to make suggestions on how you may be able to fabricate a replacement with tools you may already have. One thought is "vacuum forming" also known as "thermal forming". It can be done with creative application of a shop vac. Check YouTube for "home made" or DIY forming as mentioned above.
I you lens is much like the photo posted, it is much less complex than the casting method I used.
You will need shape a pattern (male in this case), which looks pretty straight forward. You also would also make your pattern wall thickness (plastic to be used) smaller.
If this looks to be a option for you I can and will give a little more info.
FDM is also possible, however, you need a CAD file for that and is likely to be a little pricey.

I should add. That if you can find a good lens on ebay, that would be most likely be the way to go.
