Free parts! (sort of....)
With just a few days left of our two week stay at Fish Creek Ponds in June, I discovered that the black water tank drain valve was leaking. Luckily, there wasn't much "black stuff" in the tank, and most of that was liquid. Using my trusty 32 gallon blue tote, I drained and flushed it out as best I could.
When draining the gray water, the broken black water valve would drip a little, but not enough to worry about.
I opened up the drains when I got home and, after cleaning some more, pulled out the 3" black water valve. Only the valve was broken; all of the connecting plumbing is fine.
Found a real bargain on ebay. Guy was selling a 3" Valterra valve with 3" and 3.5" fittings already bolted onto it. He said he got it as part of an auction buy of Fleetwood stuff. Anyway, the price was right and it's now sitting on my desk.
I don't believe I will need either of the fittings so if anyone needs a 3" ID or 3.5" ID fitting to connect to a 3" drain valve, it's yours for the postage to get it to you. Both are black ABS plastic.
