Interesting model. I’ve never seen one and didn’t know it existed.

Must be the slide that accounts for the tongue weight. Seems high to me.

They only built 22 of them, almost all identical except for the prototype, and they were just about the very last Sunlines built prior to the announcement of the closure. It was launched along side of the T-249SR, a 2499 with a couch slide, but that one never made it past the prototype. Had Sunline had a couple more weeks or months, we may have seen a run of those too.

The 195SR is longer than a 1950 by about 2', with all of that in front of the axles. A standard 1950 has the couch right up to the refrigerator and front wall. In order to put that same couch in a slide and account for the slide walls and mechanism, the extra 2' was necessary. As such, it did add quite a bit of weight, not to mention the heavier duty frame. It's interesting how it gained 300# of tongue weight, considering the water heater and furnace both moved back.

See pic comparison attached, both 2007 models, built 10 apart.

Jon...my 1995 has the water heater in the rear under the bed, access under the rear lights. Hard to get to to winterize/bypass by lifting the bed. I took the easy way out by blowing out the lines..Janalee.

I'm surprised they made the storage under the couch smaller by moving it up there, but I guess it is much easier for the reasons you mentioned. Plus, it probably could get damaged easier with stuff sliding around under the bed. It's probably more efficient up front since it's now in line with all the other LP appliances.

Jon..Actually they partitioned it off so stuff can"t damage it..BUT that partition only makes it harder to get at AND the pump is there also..dumb positioning! Plenty of room under the sink for both with good access in and outside..but I always said, campers should really be planned BY campers, and only after they have camped a few times..LOL! Janalee

I have a 23 ft. 2005 model in Gulf Shores, AL. I have pictures posted here. I am having it repaired down there. I found out there was a leak in the back wall when I was down there in Dec. I have not had an estimate yet, but the repair service was recommended by another company there, so I feel pretty confident about it. I may also have him to do some updating. My husband died in 2016 and I don't really want to keep the trailer or to pay storage fees anymore. We were non smokers, which to me is a plus and we always kept the trailer clean. It was never pulled around a lot really. If you are interested, let me know. Sunline people are great people! Thanks! P.S. I am new to this website and I still find it hard to use sometimes!

Now that we know there is one 2007 T-249sr in existence (quite possibly the only one), it is for sale in Asbury Park, NJ. Seller is asking around $7200. Inside is excellent. Outside has some dents. Don't know condition of awning. See link in T-249sr thread. Floor plan is the T-2499 plan with a slide out couch. Slides out about 21".

There is one for sale near Harrisburg PA, actually in McAlisterville, listed on Facebook. "2004 Sunline Solaris" I went to see it Saturday and it appeared to be almost like new. Saw no evidence of leaks, roof vents replaced, awning replaced. VERY clean! I'm taking family to see it tonight, but if we don't bite, maybe it will still be available. Price has been reduced from what is posted on FB. They listed in newspaper at $5295.

Apackoftwo,

Looked earlier and the add didn't come up, though it had before, and here it is again tonight!

I didn't see it on the first visit, but I was basically giving it the once-over, knowing I had more research and a closer look in better light (saw it at 7:30PM), but there was some evidence of water in the MBR area along back wall. Those with more knowledge than me said it needed recaulked at roof & then would be ok. Have read of moisture meters, but don't have one, so nothing like that was used to check it. Here's the link to the Facebook ad.

Hope that helps!

Thank you

Just looking at the pictures leads me to believe it was stored outside with no cover which is recipe for leaks. The front decal is so faded you can hardly read it

I have a moisture meter and I would never inspect a RV without it

I contacted the owner.

Just as I thought, stored outside its whole life and NOT covered. Tires 10 years old but “no need to replace, still in good condition”

Another clueless camper who ruined their camper by not maintaining it
