Our "new to us Sunline"

Hi all- I'm fairly new to this great site but have been "lurking" for a while! Thanks for all of your help with my questions etc.Our search for our 2363 has ended!I purchased a beautiful 2004 2363 from a nice couple in South Jersey who took very good care of this trailer, they are moving on to a motor home as they now have 3 grand-kids who love to camp so they need more sleeping space. We're very happy with this Sunline and are looking forward to using it!Thanks-Lou

Welcome Happytocamp,

She sure is a beauty you have there. I can tell by the decals that camper must of been garaged or very good about keeping UV protectant on them.

Seeing the inside of your couch on an almost 10 year camper still says, WOW!, when you see it and it is still light years ahead of other brand new ones on the market.

Best of luck in your new camper

John

Thank you, I'm sure we'll enjoy our new Sunline. As former pop-up owners(we had 2 over 7 years)this is our first travel trailer.

John-you are right about the decals, the decal on the rear is not as nice as the front one.I don't have a garage big enough for the Sunline(darn!)what is the best way to protect her from uv rays-I do plan on looking into a cover for the winter months, what kind of uv protectant can I use?

Very good choice (see my signature) and it looks like new. I like that larger compartment on the front streetside.

Nice looking unit. We enjoyed our 2363 a lot. It is a great layout, especially for a couple, and of course a dog! Sunline quality is unparalleled and you will have many years of enjoyment as long as you take care of it. Hope you have many great camping adventures.

Welcome Lou, great coach you have there! It's hard to find them in good condition these days.

The decals do all look really good, but that rock guard one is one of the fifth wheel decals that Stoltzfus had for a while...

I can help on how to preserve the decals that are on fiberglass areas.

See this post. I saved mine on the rock guard using this clear auto tape and is still going strong. The back one left a while ago and was replaced.

See these posts they may help
http://www.sunlineclub.com/forums/f6...p-it-9397.html

And this one. Heads up, do not do the corrugated siding. It is not flat enough and the clear film allows water to get behind it. The fiberglass is perfect. My front rock guard decal sated to die in Nov 2009. Then I saved it. It is still good.
http://www.sunlineclub.com/forums/f7...ach-10743.html

For UV spray, I use this on the rest of the decals, anything plastic on the roof and sides and on the rubber roof after I wash it.
303® Aerospace Protectant 32oz

I buy it by the gallon, it lasts me a few years. Search the web or stores for the best price.

Hope this helps

Good luck

John
